-38°F windchill morning

My first blog post! Booyah!!

Yesterday morning, I dragged myself out of bed at 6:45 AM to catch the sunrise up the shore of Lake Superior. This was my friend, Connor’s idea – to go out in the early morning in below zero weather with winds like no other. I don’t know why I agreed to it but I’m glad I did. So, with hot coffee in hand and proper winter attire, we went out into the frozen tundra and explored the north shore.

The steam coming off the lake made it look like a hot spring! How wild! Now, if only it was as warm as a hot spring.

We found an abandoned school out in the middle of nowhere. It was creepy. Wanted to get out of there as soon as possible but my crazy friend here wanted to explore the whole building.
